16/05 Are You Prepared?

The Temple of Karabor was the center of draenei worship until its priests were slaughtered by demonically corrupted orcs. In the massacre's aftermath, the warlocks of the Shadow Council seized the structure and gave it a new name: the Black Temple.

Once ruled by Magtheridon, it is now home to Illidan. The Betrayer awaits challengers to his rule deep within this ancient structure. To gain more information that would help in planning a successful strike against the Black Temple's occupier, watch this trailer:

Or read through this preview of what awaits such challengers in the upcoming patch:

Enjoy!

Neither am I ;) But maaan was that an awesome trailer! (only just finished watching it).

I can understand that some feel discouraged by not being able to enter the Black Temple within a near future, but personally I have lots of other content yet to discover. And there will be more content patches in the future, I am sure there will be something new that can please you. I am also certain that we will continue this discussion in many more threads to come ;)

Omg, this is so cooooool! Raiding to see Ilidan 4-6 hours a day, 5 days a week it's like a second job, how cool is that?
So yeah, I'm not prepared. I really want to see this content tho, send us some photos, would you?

Have anything constructive and less sarcastic to say?

Never saw MC, or BWL, AQ or Naxx. And the devs agreed that the overwhelming majority of players did not either.

So kindly explain to me why I am supposed to cheer because I am still subsidising the entertainment of a tiny handful of players?

I saw a suggestion a while ago that I honestly liked - we have heroic mode for dungeons. Can we have a "story" mode as well please so more people can participate and get something out of new content? I don't even care about the loot, would just like a decent look that doesn't involve looking at fuzzy FRAPS on Youtube.

You don't have to cheer if you don't want to.

We've seen the story mode idea floating around for a while, personally I would like that a lot!

The day Blizzard stops pissing on the majority of players we all will be cheerful. Your comment shows excactly the problem the casuals have with giving the main storyline towards 1% of the paying customers. Want something constructive? Give the whole storyline towards the majority of players and not the 1%.

Did you read any other of my posts in this thread, or did you only pick the one where you could prove your point?

Yes, I want something constructive. That's the only thing that is actually helpful. I have had many similar discussions about the game content in lots of other threads, and I hope those discussions to continue. There have been lots of good input about the kind of content more "casual" players want, and me and my colleagues make sure to forward that.

Anyway, what I said in my other posts which you conveniently ignored is that there will be more content patches to come, and the discussions we have had and will continue to have will get forwarded to the developers. I am sure there will be other content more suitable for you in future patches. You also seem to forget the more casual friendly content that is implemented in this patch as well as the Black Temple.

Not THIS is what I call... both poetic and constructive feedback! ;)

On a more serious note, well written post, and I feel a bit repetitive now when I say that we will (and already have) forward the concerns from so called non-hardcore raiders.

CMs, do us all a favour and move your otherwise not-so-useful arses to get this to the highest Blizzard HQ authority you have a "line" to. Thanks in advance.

Check two posts up ^^
