2vs2 & 3vs3 queues - Blue Tracker

Yet another tuesday awaits.

In the Cyclone battlegroup this means only the 5vs5 bracket is playable. 3vs3 queues will be at 12+ minutes and I can't even imagine what 2vs2 will be on.

But this problem is not reserved for tuesdays. During any other weekday the 2vs2 queues will be on 6-8 minutes from mid afternoon until early morning.

I find this very disappointing since arena is one of the main reasons I'm still in this game and have leveled and geared up several characters. The urge to try out new hilarious combos on a casual basis simply vanished with the queue length.

I've seen other posts pointing this out being locked faster than I could refresh my browser. This thread will probably share the same fate, but at least I have tried then.

Oh, and for the few inevitable trolls that are bound to direct me at the 5vs5 bracket: I play that one too.

You should be pleased to know that there is an improvement set for patch 2.4 which will result in lower queue times for arena matches :-)

Good, good. How exactly will you improve this? Just by adding more instance servers for arena, or something else like less strict matching? (the second will probably be a marginal improvement?)

I am not entirely sure about the exact nature of the work being done to improve the arena queue times, but I do know that it is quite extensive and that it cannot be done by a hotfix alone.
