Does all Realms have same problem with 5-8 people each game just stand and leech. they got 3000-7000 honor and 0 HK´s.

Does anyone report them or everyone think its ok for them to do this?

Im sick and tierd of the games during night when we are 15vs15 and 8 of them are standing afk.

Dunno if they are worse than the goldspammers.

Hi guys,

I'd like to clear up our policies on "AFK Leeching", and to put a stop to any speculation.

Please refer to our Exploitation Policies, at:

http://www.wow-europe.com/en/policy/exploitation.html

In particular:

Q u o t e:
Abuse of Game Mechanics

The distinction between exploiting bugs and abusing game mechanics is a fine one. While bug exploitation involves the abuse of what is essentially a programming mistake, the abuse of game mechanics is the act of taking advantage of the limitations of the World of Warcraft game systems. Since the line between the sanctioned use and the abuse of game mechanics is sometimes unclear, we prefer to educate players before taking any action against the account being used.

This category includes using/distributing game mechanics in a manner unintended by their design that:

* Damages another character, their gameplay, the service itself and/or its economy

If a player is found to have abused/distributed such game mechanics, he/she may:

* Be given a verbal warning
* Be temporary or permanently suspended from the game in very specific cases

In short, purposefully avoiding the "AFK" tag in a battleground, regardless of the method used is an actionable offence. Anyone found by us to be leeching honour in this way will be first removed from the Battleground, and then action will be taken on their account, up to and including permanent account suspension.

If you should see anyone avoiding AFK in a battleground, please report them to us in game, and we will try to witness the offence and take appropriate action in accordance with our policies.

If you have any further questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to ask away! :)

If you don't understand what I meant by the quoted statement, then I think efforts to explain myself further would be futile.

We will be introducing measures in an upcoming patch to allow players to report players for AFKing in a battleground in a similar way to the current squelch system works for spammers. When enough reports are sent, a debuff for the reported player will ensure that they will not gain any honour.

You can find further details on this at:

http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=301970360&sid=1

Q u o t e:
A new feature for reporting players as being AFK in battlegrounds by right clicking has been added. When enough reports are registered, a 30 second debuff will begin to count down. Once the timer is up a new debuff will appear that will prevent the player from gaining any honor while it is on. This debuff can be negated as soon as the player engages in combat.

I hope this addresses your concerns.
