First I’d like to credit this post on the US forums that hasn’t had a lot of traction. I’ve been searching through my old spreadsheets (in particular the dr_ALLCOM3) for Fury from 2008 and I’ve been running through the numbers and it’s very clearly calculating Bloodthirst damage based on scaling with all of the relevant buffs.
Bare in mind this is one of the easiest things to test and is very basic theorycrafting, the chances of a full blown simulation spreadsheet being developed, scrutinised and widely used by the playerbase and theorycrafting community while missing something so simple as Bloodthirst damage calculation is pretty slim, BT damage should be scaling with Imp Berserker stance and Unleashed Rage.
But of course that isn’t evidence, what is evidence however is video footage where we can see the damage numbers and reverse engineer the calculations to figure out how spell damage is being calculated. And it seems Bloodthirst damage seeming low is not a figment of our imaginations, it’s a bug after all.
