Blizzard Post
Hi All.... I would like to hear your thoughts about my Guide that i have compiled. Please do note that it is a guild in progress and i would like to add to it when i come across any new information.

Twilight's hammer Server:
Guild: Paradox
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Firstly i would like to start this document off by introducing myself to those of you that dont know me. I go by the nick Snoopyinc in game. I am the GM of Paradox and am setting new records and changing peoples ideas of end game healing.

A short introduction as to why Druids are not just a filler:
We druids have been told "bah you a hybrid class you are a filler and nothing more", I am here to disagree with anyone that has told you that and can garantee that druids can be one of the best end game healers if played correctly. I will repeat that... IF PLAYED CORRECTLY! In saying that i am here to guide you to play correctly, this guide is somewhat higher class and requires a basic understanding of your Class. If you find some of the things discussed go over your head i suggest reading up on a basic Resto guild before you come back to reading this.... will make more sense then.

Our class requires us to diversify when needed in battle.

Let me start this document off with the following:

Druid Builds... (you know the talent tree point stuff )

(As a note I will discuss the appropriate build for different play styles after the listings)
Nicknamed the HealOTreeRaid (HOTR)

This build is a PVP / PVE Hot only build. As you can notice the Healing Touch also referred to as HT is extremly nerfed in this build so dont bother using your Natures swiftness on a big heal when your tank gets hurt you wont do much to the tank healing wise. Not really recommended unless you a backup raid healer. Also for buffing this is going to be a problem if you the only druid in the RAID.

Nicknamed the HealOTreeHealing (HOTH)
Very good PVE build with the ability to solo some mobs in the WOW world with Natures Grasp as your extra 4 points. This build and the next one i will mention are the 2 most argued builds in the game. The improved Tranquilty vs the Natures Grasp is a common issue amoung the Druid RESTO Community. My argument here is that if you are a pure PVE person Natures grasp is a waist since you will be indoors 100% of the time and cant use it at all. This spec is used for the Main + Healing druid in the Guild

Nicknamed the HealOTreeSpirit (HOTS)
PVE ONLY spec. Dont even try do anything solo with this spec you will just die. This spec is aimed at those that just do Heoics/ RAIDS. There has been much talk about the variation of this spec between the Natural Shapeshifter vs Improved Tranquility. Natural Shapeshifter is good if you have the plan to go Full T4 Set (4 Pieces) To gain the extra reduction in Natures Swiftness. The idea is that you NS and HT to give the ability to close the gap in HP required incase the Tank gets Spike damage etc. Improved Tranquility is there for those that want to do Heroics and have PUGS as Groups... Or just noob Tanks that cant hold agro. Using this allows no Threat to be produced by Tranquility effectivly healing up the Group without having any issues.

Now that i have covered the basics in Builds. I will speak of the other class builds that i have heard of but will not use. The Dreamstate build plain and simply SUCKS. Its for those people wanting to be a Paladin... IF you wanna be like a pala then ROLL one, Druids are not good single target HT healers. ESPECIALLY with the Dreamstate build.

I Personally will never ever try this build as i dont see the point in it. If you want to go Intellect based healing then pick a class that uses that as a primary stat I.E Paladins.
I suggest that if you have a problem with OOM then you need to relook the way you play your CHAR..... Currently i can heal a RAID and still have enough mana afterwards... this means i dont even use my Innervate on myself. I Normally get the " SNOOPY INNERVATE ME" . More later about innervate and how to use it.

As far as the builds are concerned you can manipulate it slightly but the basis still stands on the main focus of talents should be the above.
Lets move onto job roles in the RAID formations:

HOTR - HealOTreeRaid Spec = the PVP/PVE spec Druid healer is used to Raid heal. Heal up everyone in the raid with your lifeblooms rejuv and occationaly using Regrowths to top up when needed. Ideally this Class needs to focus on MP5 and +healing due to the fact that they will be going OOM permantently trying to heal up 25 People in the raid. DO NOTE that the Healing styles will be covered in later sections. Since all the healing is instant heals no Haste potion required or anything that is crit related. Lifebloom is based on the person that you are healings Spell Crit Rating. If you havent noticed already do yourself a favour ... pop 1 stack of life bloom on a mage/Sp/ Warlock (a warlock with fel armour will tick considerably higher) for instance then do the same to a tank. Your life bloom on a warlock will be about 50-100 more then the tanks ticks. This spec can also Use Spirit as a stat but MP5 is more important... the Idea would be to put this Spec in the Mage group to compensate for them taking more damage and allow the TOL aura to heal Faster and higher then normal. The fact that your Lifebloom works via Spell crit isnt that important but rather what is more important is that a lifebloom will heal more then a rejuv/regrowth on the classes that use Spell Crit.

HealOTreeHealing - HOTH Spec is Based on Keeping a MT/OT alive As well as hotting up key Raid members. The main Primary Spec should be +Healing and Mp5... Spirit is not required on this Spec as much as Mp5. The idea is that this person will continuously keep Lifebloom on 3 stacks on as many as 3 people permanently. This will allow the pala and other healing classes to top up the Key people when needed to full hp. We would want the Lifebloom ticks to be at the 800-1000 Mark per tick. This is accomplished with 2k healing unbuffed. The ability to cast rejuv and NS then HT when needed is a Great way for the Druid to heal up a Key person to Max while still keeping his Hots going on the 3 targets. This kind of play requires Extreme Focus and understanding of the Class itself. Do note that if this is accomplished the Druid class will kick the shamans off the top healing meter lists.

HealOTreeSpirit - HOTS Spec is Based on MT/OT/ Raid healing. This spec is used in the MT/OT Group to buff the healing given to the Tanks by 25% of the total spirit of the Druid in HOTS spec. (this is my roll in the guild at the moment) Ideally you want to put Spirit before Mp5 and on the same Ground as +Healing. Lossing some +Healing for Spirit will happen often and is required to make a Noticable difference in the Raid healing wise. With 840 Spirit you will give all the healers healing Group 1 (the group where the tanks are in) +210 healing. This can mean alot especially for advancement. Apart from the Aura itself the Roll of this Druid is to Heal up Key people with the HOTH spec and with double lifeblooms and rejuv effectively getting around 1.8k healing per second on the Key targets. This spec should not have to NS and HT a target as the aura will be removed that that +healing given fade... druing the GCD (Global Cool down - Will be explained later on) of this one can cause the tank to die and wipe the raid if its a crucial fight. The idea with this spec is to help out the 2 different druids if there are 3 druids in a RAID to lend assistance to the HOTH and the HOTR healing. IF there is no 3rd druid then the idea would be to become a 2nd HOTH and allow the relinquish of focus from the HOTR and both of the two specs heal the raid also. I.E both Druids will be Key and Raid Healers. With one having more +Healing and the other more TOL aura to compensate for the less +Healing.
