I'm just wondering, what do you guys view the patchnotes as ?,

Is this a nerf to the druid community due to the amount of whines,

Or a fix to something blizzard never intended to get so overpowered.

The changes being done to the Druid class should be considered as a Fix rather than a Nerf, but of course not everybody would agree with that :-)

As you may have noticed, the changed being done to the Druid class are primarily focussed on the Bear Form, and one of the reasons for this is that Druids were simply just doing too much damage while being in Bear Form. Another reason for these changes being done is due to the fact that Druids in Bear Form were generating more threat than Warriors, which was a thing that was never intended. Druids will still have more HPs than Warriors after the implementation of patch 2.0.10, but the damage mitigation will be a bit lower.

Our internal testing was verifying these things mentioned above and it was therefore decided to go through with the changes listed in the patchnotes for patch 2.0.10. It is not about Nerfing or Gimping the Druid, it is more about adjusting and equalizing things a bit more. Yes, the Bear form is being toned down somewhat, but it will still be quite powerful after the launch of patch 2.0.10
