64 - bit cpu´s has been around forever. and it will only ease the stress on the cpu workload
Worlds of warcraft has amazing graphics despite their low polygon count compared to other games.

when it comes to dx10 there are som new shaders that realy gives a fantastic look and feel

Microsoft is about to realse a "windows xp" version of vistas dx10 "DX9L" That will allow the new shaders on a windows xp system.

Blizzard could simply add and implement a more hands on graphics customization
with "disable" "enable" type of thing to satisfy all, With 8 million subscribers and growing, you don't need to push out advanced graphics and raise hardware requirements. however alot of online games are doing just that. the Entry-level video cards have improved sense Blizzards first release ( 2004).

But OK ill settle for someting less than that but i still want "eye candy "
to be honest i realy dont know much about what the "world of warcraft engine" simular to the Havok Physics engine?,and what it can do, cartoon fantastical nature With the cartoon fantastical nature of the universe the developers had a good deal of freedom to flex when designing things. :)

Crytek 2 Engine first hand.( dev copy) you need a very uptodate "machine" to run it
Blizzard always strugles for perfection having so many wow freaks out is good and bad
Big changes with a great inpact -however you have more lowend users than othergames but Blizzard dev´s are warriors :) and i know that benchmark in an MMO is not easy foot traffic player traffic and so on but never inpossible.performance VS resolution Several generations of video cards have passed since World of warcraft initial release.

and people . not saying restyle the graphics of the game. im sying improve what wow has

I think it is fairly safe to say that you should not expect to see any major graphical updates before the release of Wrath of the Lich King.

It is still a little too early to say if we will get to see a dramatic overhaul of the graphics engine with the release of the expansion, but the developers are constantly improving the textures, models, and animations in the game, which you usually get to see when new dungeons, locations, items and creatures are being released. A full upgrade to the visuals in the game is definitely a possibility for a future expansion, but it is quite possible that this may not be the case for the next expansion, Wrath of the Lich King.
