The hunter, and the Arena.

With the arena beginning in 2 days, i think it grows ever more important to discover how best to utilize your skills as a hunter, matched up with a partner (or more). i've been trying to figure out what class goes best with a hunter, so far it hasn't yielded any great results. i am also trying to think, how best to manage your talents to increase your worth in an arena team.

here's my ideas.

Best hunter arena team mate: Druid, simply for Entangling roots. i see this as a boon, since it means you can do more damage at distance, before having to close in.

Best hunter arena talent spec. i have been thinking that you are best of, with burst damage here. also, those subtle talents that increases your arena mate(s) performance too. ofc, i've also picked talents that increases my health, it's true hunters aren't ment for taking damage, and thusly, shouldn't focus on survivability, since you want to keep out of harms way anyhoo - yet i think it could mean alot if you are able to stand on your legs for those 2 - 3 secs longer. just my thoughs.

this is how my arena talent spec looks, so far...

ofc, there will be many who disagrees with my ideas; and that is by all means the purpose of this thread; to provoke them into showing themselves. even though i am late out, i hope to get some discussion on all that arena stuff going on here :)

Best Hunter Arena Pet: I am currently having a cat, and i'm happy with it. it can stealth, so since i'm a night elf, that is a huge boon. meaning it can prowl all the way from one end of the arena, to another without being CC'ed until at least it get's it initial strike at the enemy, seems like a really nice thing to me. the note of chaos it will bring, as the target will have to fend for itself, leaving his group alone, might come in handy. so, i know that there are many more well-suited pvp pets, and i would like to see some of them on this thread. Hope you guys are as interested in arenas as i am!

GL discussing =)

For 2vs2, I would definitely get Bestial Wrath as well.
It's always a nice ability, but truly shines the less people that are involved in the fight, imo.
