There is nothing wrong with a WoW related site/blog/etc having a
single thread on the forums to inform others who (might) have interest about their doings.
This whole thread has derailed and has spun out of control, however I will take the opportunity to lay the debate to rest.
What we do
not want to see (among other things) is players putting up multiple threads on multiple forums solely to promote their website (spamming). Additionally, threads where websites that give the poster a personal gain (such as MyBrute, or any other website where the point is linking with a referral ID for profits), or threads where websites try to sell their services or products through these forums, are not welcome and will be moderated.
Lastly, as this thread is wildly off-topic, it is now being locked.
