Why even have a suggestions forum ... Like seriously?

Q u o t e:
To be honest, I think the EU forums have an equal amount of "blue posts" from CMs as the US have. The EU blue posts are just spread out across the english, german, french, russian, and spanish forums. And since most of your blue trackers don't track anything but english posts, all you probably notice is the blue posts by Mr. Vaneras, Slorkuz, and Wryxian - but as far as "EU forums" goes, there are far more than that. And then in regards to the english-speaking EU forums (these), then any recent lack of blue posts is probably because of the fact that Mr. Ancilorn has yet to be replaced (big gurloc shoes to fill as well). So where there has typically been 4 CMs on the english-speaking EU forums, there are currently only 3. That most likely affects posting a bit as well (though hopefully only for a while).
We've also recently released a whole new game to take care of too! There's no lack of stuff to do, that's for sure.

But to answer the original poster's brief question. Why do we have the Suggestions forum in the EU? We have the Suggestions forum in every supported language for WoW across the world because we need one central place per language/region to gather suggestions from. Of course, we gather suggestions also from all over the place as we find them, but believe me it helps to have one central place for them.

Does the existence of a Suggestions forum mean that EU has strong influence over the development of WoW? Yes it does. But we also influence the development of WoW from here in Europe through your feedback. It's not the first time mentioning it, but the feedback from across all five supported European languages is usually very helpful and of a high quality.

Hope that clarifies it for you.
