Merging new account with old.

Hi, i'm having some trouble merging this new account with my old account, any help is appreciated.

I think there both battle.net accounts, as i need to use an E-mail to log into both, the newest account is the one im on atm, and my friend recruited me using Recruit a friend, so i made this.
And my old account with my horde characters on is a battle.net account too.

Can i merge them?

Are your two WoW accounts on different Battle.net accounts?
