The Crack Down

Now ive been following this realID thing for awhile and i myself dont like it, ive disabled it and for me, until its sorted its staying that way. Some have taken are more active roll in the fight agenst this and in the fight for this abomination. All to there own and i belive the fact that people can have such open and free debates and fight for something they belive in is something be commended.

Until the blizzard gestapo came along and have locked threads and now even banned people from the forums with no reason given, this isnt something ive heared or found in a thread in some other forum. No this infact happened to my friend not so long ago (about 5 minutes or so) as he was to post a thread only to find he was banned, with no warning or reason given.

So on behalf of my friend and free speech here is what he was going to say, im expecting a ban myself after this post...dont know why but i have that feeling.

and 1995 Supreme Court ruling in McIntyre v. Ohio Elections Commission:

Protections for anonymous speech are vital to democratic discourse. Allowing dissenters to shield their identities frees them to express critical, minority views . . . Anonymity is a shield from the tyranny of the majority. . . . It thus exemplifies the purpose. . . .: to protect unpopular individuals from retaliation . . . at the hand of an intolerant society.


I will continue to speak out against your complete disregard for peoples security and rights to privacy, including but not limited to:

My right to protect who gets to see my personal information
My right to free speach without persecution or retailation

RealID won't change a thing at the bottom line

Anyway thats my part played and hopefully the last time i need to post on the forums anytime soon and if anyone asks "whos that who said that" if you've not been following the meny threads you wont know, those of you who have been can probably figure it out.
