Classic servers?

Maybe its an old discussion, but what is the general opinion about making official classic servers with no TBC, no WotLK, no Cata and no damn failscore, just good old 2004-ish vanilla WoW? I know they had something like this in Dark Age of Camelot back in the day and it wasn't that unpopular.
