Ban this stupid addon from the game or make an equivalent for it. Both are good options since there already is a addon called "elite group" which is alot better than gearscore, but harder to use.
Please, force players to actually use some brains when forming raids and dont just allow players skill to be seen as a number.
When Cataclysm is going to hit I really think Gearscore is going to a lot more bad than good. Everyone should have a chanse to join to the early instances no matter how long they want to level.
I simply hate that addon. Today I saw some people LFM for icc25 and icc10. Guess what: the gs requirement for icc10 was 5.6k and icc25 5.3k. Does it make any sense? It does not. And they wasnt looking for tanks only..
Really hate to see such an important part in the game being corrupted by such a no brainer addon.
If you are going to defend gearscore because it makes raids succeed better, then tell me how am I out dps'ing some people with 5.5k gs with my 5k gs fury warrior. Or tell me where does all the failures come from what people do in raids, does gearcore prevent them from happeing? No it doesnt.
Do you have anything else to defend gearscore? Its simple to use okay. But as I said such an important part in the game cant just be corrupted by such a stupid no brainer addon, because of the obvious reasons I just described above.
This post was written by a rogue that have been playing this game since the day it was released in Europe, so there is little reason to ignore me.
Seriously Blizzard. This addon is a curse in world of warcraft. REMOVE IT.
