I think it would be a fantastic test of who did a better job - the original devs, or these guys who work on the game today.

If by chance the realm got overpopulated - well there you go. Time to open another one and it's no longer unprofitable. There's a demand.

They should open just one and see how it goes. Especially considering that the amount of people who have requested one exceeds the average size of a current realm anyway.

There really isn't any reason to not do this other than the fear that many players who never played WoW Classic, will finally see what all the fuss is about and actually like it.
