So let me get this straight, this is a non public forum which we have to be a paid member to use?

So we're actually paying to express our opinion here. Shouldn't we have even more freedom then?

Pre-emptive PS: Why is this post locked? Its just a general discussion on the philosophy of paid forum membership

The subscription you pay (as per the Terms of Use) covers only the access to use the game realms, the access you have to the forums is an extra benefit free of charge, or a bonus if you will.

Including the forums in the agreement and terms of use would be subject to a lot of rules and regulations, and it'd also mean violating the forum rules would get your game access closed down. We prefer to keep it separate.

You are free to express your opinion as you see fit, however we must insist that you respect the forum rules and the moderation while doing so. If a certain topic is deemed forbidden or inappropriate in the forum rules, do not attempt to discuss said topics. If a moderator asks you to post feedback on a specific topic in a specific thread, do not create a new thread on said topic. etc.

The forum rules and the forum moderation is not something that is up for discussion, but please feel free to use the webform if you wish to tell us your opinions or ask any questions you may have on this topic:
