Hi

My wife got this email this morning.
Greetings,

Your World of Warcraft account may be involved in a trade. Trading/Selling World of Warcraft virtual property is against Blizzard's End User License Agreement. If your account is found violating Terms of Use, it can, and will be suspended / closed / or terminated.

In order to keep this from occurring, you should immediately verify that you are the original owner of the account. Click on the link below to verify your Battle.net account:

For more information, click here for answers to Frequently Asked Questions or to contact the Blizzard Billing Account Services team.

Regards,
The Battle.net Account Team

2 thing are every strange.
1 The email was sent to her none BATTLENET email address.
2 When she clicks on the link it will not even open.

I have checked her account and its still active.
If Blizzard are sending this type of email out then they should send it to the account email that is setup with Battlenet.

To say she is upset, would understate the fact.
We have played since the game came out and have never Trading/Selling World of Warcraft virtualy.
We take our time to play and work up, we dont even do instances as we dont have the gear to do them.

The email is fake and your wife should check her computer for malicious programs and afterwards change her password.

This is Correct

If your wife clicked any links in that mail, she might also want to make sure that her computer is secure:
