Online Community Representative - English
Blizzard Entertainment Europe is seeking an outgoing individual to provide assistance to our English speaking community via the forums and webpage. This is a position for an avid gamer with a strong background in providing top-notch customer service.
An ideal candidate would be creative, self-motivated, conscientious, and detail-oriented, with excellent spoken and written communication skills. This person would be able to offer consistently attentive, high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment. He or she would also be very familiar with the massively multiplayer online game and real-time strategy genres and game-forum dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Consistently read and respond to postings in the Blizzard Entertainment forums.
- Moderation of the Blizzard Entertainment forums.
- Investigate open subjects with other teams at Blizzard Entertainment.
- Write and present regular internal forum-feedback reports.
- Create regular community updates.
- Participate in fairs and events on request.
- Other responsibilities, as assigned.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Passion for gaming and in-depth knowledge of Blizzard Entertainment games
- Strong customer-service skills and a professional attitude
- Diligence to consistently follow up on open subjects on the forums
- Proficiency with MS Office or equivalent tools
- Previous community-management and/or forum-moderation experience
- Previous PR and/or customer-service experience
- Membership in a Blizzard Entertainment fan site
- Fluency in another European language
