Skill Capacity

Due to recent misinterpretations of the widely used term "skill cap" here in the world of Warcraft, I've taken it upon myself to clarify the actual meaning of this complex gaming expression.

Skill capacity is not in refferrence to how hard a class is to play, or its power.

A high or a low skill cap simply states how much skill it takes to play the class to its full capacity.

In other words, playing it perfectly. When you think about it, the term itself is quite irrelevant to the average gamer.

By definition, the most overpowered class can also have the highest skill cap. Again, skill cap is not in refference to the skill required to achieve good results, but merely playing a class perfectly, no matter what results this might bring.

What class has the highest skill cap can be debated in several ways. Good arguments include the number of options a class has in each situation in order to come out on top, and the fast paced thinking this might require.

Certain classes have more tasks, more options, and have harder choices to make.

But of course, the indepth analyzations of this shall be left up to the world elite of PvP'ers.

Because face it, if you and I had half the knowledge we think we have about the mechanics of PvP, we'd be right up there with them, at 3000 rating.

More on the subject of skill in the world of warcraft shall follow.
