If the link expires, and my friend adds gametime, do I still get the rewards?

Thank you blizzard for being such a bunch of %$^"%, so for free you can get a two seated mount , when i slaved my butt off to make a choppa bike. whats the point anymore of even working to get a mount that carrys others. talk about taking the enjoyment out of the game.

So just to confirm I understand this:
I created RAF with a friend quite some time ago and they never bought any gametime. If they come back this summer and buy some more gametime (despite the fact the link died months ago), will I still be eligble for the relevant rewards?

If the recruit later comes back, reactivates the account, and purchases subscription time, you will still be eligible for the rewards. Additionally, you can always invite more friends/family members to try World of Warcraft through the Recruit-A-Friend system.

Now, I am sorry if I am just beeing slow. But as to my question, I refered a friend ages ago (june 2009) and the link expired september 2009. If I were to convince my friend to pay (or pay for him) and come back, would I be getting the rewards? Or should we just make a fresh account for him if I want the reward (and he never really got any character to high level.)?
Q u o t e:I just had this clarified. The paragraph you quoted means that only an account that is (or has been) linked through RAF is eligible, not all accounts are eligible for it regardless. You are still eligible should your friend come back and resub. :) I am sorry for the confusion.

Q u o t e:So am I my little bearded friend, but the Gnomes with the Gnowledge have told me that so long as your friend's account was a full (not trial) account, and that your account was linked to his through Recruit-a-Friend (at some point in the past) then a mount would be granted to you once the original criteria were met. :)
oh ok, so since I recruited him back then, and was linked with him for 3 months - I will get the reward! Sweet! Altough, I think I am still a bit confused:D
