Fly From the get-go? - What do you think?

This is taken from the developer chat on twitter regarding Flying mounts come Cataclysm. I just wanted to say that I personally love the idea of being able to fly in the old-world right as the expansion launches. However I'm not sure if there going to have a training to fly in old-world, Either way if its trainable at level 80 then I'm in. If you don't even have to train that's even better.

It would kinda make sense that we don't have to train for old-world flying because its nothing to special in a way, Like Cold-Weather flying for example is needed because its 'cold' in Northrend.

So anyhow, I wanted to ask everyone what they think about this. Do you think we should be able to fly from the get go, without paying for training?. Or do you think we should have to pay?

It certainly is happening, but it will only be purchasable by characters who are level 85. Players who already own a 310% mount will be 'gifted' the training, and it goes without saying that once the skill is learned all flying mounts will become 310% mounts. That's the current plan at least, and we don't plan on offering any further speed increases to these mounts.

what exactly will you offer to people as an incentive when their hard earned reward becomes simply (in most cases) a prettier, or better looking version of what everyone else has.

Outside of the satisfaction of having achieved something - a more unique looking version of other mounts is still quite appealing, no? :)

Other incentives may also be considered still, like titles and such.
