Thoughts?
Q u o t e:Generally we're of the mind that the changes made to racials in WotLK brought a pretty decent balance. But yes it is definitely possible that we might look at some changes to the racials of the existing playable races in Cataclysm or elsewhere in the future. For example, we'd like to make the profession based racials a bit more fun, if we can.
Got a link to back up this?
Q u o t e:Also a much earlier post from me here:
Dwarven have always been the keen explorer's and treasure hunters since Classic WoW when they began to ask where they came from.
And besides Bornakk already gave a hint on the Blizz Developer Chat on Twitter:
Q. Are there plans to improve the Dwarven Racials? At this point anything is better than Find Treasure.
A. Well, we are adding Archaeology to WoW...

Q u o t e:We are simply reiterating what was said previously. Check the link I quoted below from last year. It says clearly "We are reviewing existing racials for Cataclysm". But it also says we are pretty happy with the racial changes in WotLK. If you think that over, it's a pretty broad response.
Last time I checked you announced at Blizzcon that you were redoing all the racials. Seeing as the planned Goblins/Worgen racials are miles better than any of the current racials, it was said the current ones were being redone. Now you are saying that the only racials changing is the profession ones? I guess you want to earn even more money at the start of Cata from every min max raider/pvp'er race changing.
