We’d like to take a moment to tell you about the Media section of the new World of Warcraft community site. The Media section features a collection of screenshots, comics, downloadable wallpaper, and videos, all conveniently located in one place. Just click on the media button at the top of the site. Once you’ve reached the main media index page, you can peruse the sections and see when they were last updated. Here are some more features:

Updates – The Media section is a major feature of the site. Watch the blog for updates on new comics, downloadable wallpaper, and more. We’ll typically post several updates per week.

Top Menu– Conveniently located on all the media pages, the top menu allows you to quickly navigate between sections. Just hover your mouse cursor over the menu to see each option.

Comments – One of the biggest features we've added to the media section is comments. Now you can comment on the latest Screenshot of the Day, wallpaper, comics, or videos.

Artwork Comments– You can now comment on our artwork. Your comments could be read by the Blizzard artists that created the artwork!

Comics Comments– Have something to say about a comic? Now you can. Don’t “get” a comic? Ask questions. Let the artists know what you think.

Filter Options– The “Filter Options” drop-down menu located in the upper right of some pages allows you to filter the media by categories created by the web team. This is especially useful in the Artwork section.

Thumbnail/Filmstrip View– The buttons on top right allow you to switch between filmstrip or thumb view.

Keywords– Many pieces of art and wallpaper backgrounds feature keywords at the bottom. Click on the keywords to view similar images.

View Larger Image– Zoom in and see a larger version of the image.

Arrow Keys– Use the Arrow Keys to browse the image galleries.

Descriptions– Some pieces include more detailed information. Example: Orc Raider

We hope you enjoy the new Media section!
