Hi i the GM of High On Horde Auchindoun we currently have 300+ members and are a social/leveling/ casual raiding ( for are 80s)
i have being making raids for the guild but not ICC or ToC or anything hard yet because we simpily will crash and burn on the first trash even though i have done some of the bosses in ICC 25 like dreamwalker.
i have very good relationships with my guild members and like them alot
my brother used to be one of my Co guild leaders but he left to join a raiding guild and yesterday i joined there ICC 25 raid because they were short on a DPS and we downed Dreamwalker they had never done that b4 but there 11/12 on icc 10 no i have been offered a spot in there guild and in one of the main groups but i dont know if i should make one of my alt Gm and join that or stay in HoH (high on horde) as i have lots of 80s in my guild and i think they might leave if i do and make my alt the GM

so i was wondering what shall i do

btw the raiding guild is called perfect storm and there a Very good raiding guild

Felici, troll this thread again and you're not going to be posting any more.

k thanks finaly som1 who has i idea any others though?
I cannot give you ideas, but I can offer advice from my own personal point of view (such a faux pas for a blue!).

You need to work out where your priorities lie, as well as gaining an understanding of what you want to achieve in the game, as well as working out how you want to go about it. You're in quite a quandary and Hevolution covers this well in an above post.

Do you want to progress with your own guild and see if you can take it further as master and commander of your own group, or would you prefer to experience content from the metaphorical passenger seat? Leading a Guild requires responsibility and management skills to succeed. Perhaps you want this challenge and you would for sure gain a greater deal of satisfaction by leading your troops to victory. Or perhaps you would prefer to experience content and achieve in-game goals under the leadership of another Guild master or Raid leader?

The choice is ultimately yours. There may be nothing stopping you from giving the new Guild a go, and seeing if it works out for you. You can keep your current guild afloat, but I would warn you that it may not keep afloat for ever without your constant leadership - it's possible the current members may feel abandoned or similar and look for new avenues of in-game progression for themselves.

TL;DR - Play the game how you want to play it, be it as a leader or as a passenger. Just make sure you have fun, and make sure you do what is in the best interests of you and your fellow players. :) You can't make the wrong choice, really. I hope you manage to find the best route to achieve your goals!

wise words and as expected of a blue a bit vage :P
I have to maintain a distance from this kind of decision making process. It's not my place to dictate how someone plays, but rather offer some insight into how one might tackle such a dilemma. :)

Thanks for these very helpful replys (well most of them :D) im thinking now of recruiting more 80s to start raiding and hopfuly down the lich king (after a long time of practise lol) once again thanks i did not think i would get so many people replying
A good decision, and we wish you all the best with your future raiding within your guild. :)

I will lock this thread since it's somewhat derailed into a 'he said she said' type thing. It's no reflection on your thread, Hourior, but simply the amount of unrelated stuff that has been thrown in here once the blue icon appeared next to it.

Best of luck once more.
