I wanted to find something out and was wondering if this was the correct forum to ask it or not so will ask anyway and hopefully be guided correctly.
If someone (myself) was on the Splintered Throne Quest, part of the Shadowmourne Quest chain, where you get to collect Legendary items called Shadowfrost Shards from bosses in 25 man Icecrown Citadel.
Race change / Faction change says that you will lose all Quests you have and have to go pick them up again, also you will lose all quest items in your bags (they will be destroyed)
For this particular quest, the Shadowfrost Shards are not labelled as Quest items on the tooltip for them, so my question is :-
If one was to perform a Race/Faction change, and lose the Quest "The Splintered Throne", I know I would have to pick it up again, but, would all the Shadowfrost Shards accumulated be destroyed from my bags and have to be collected again from scratch ? - or - would they still remain in the bags ?
As you can imagine this is pretty devastating if they were to be destroyed due to losing the quest due to a change such as this, so I kind of need to know before even considering such a change.
