Now i need to see 2 scam emails per week ,and if i actually get a mail from blizzard it will go to the trash before i read the first line of it .
Just 10 mins ago i loged in my email to find 3 [same type] scam emails w8ing for me .

You can be guaranteed one thing however - they didn't get your e-mail from Blizzard, especially not from Battle.Net.

Either they randomly guessed (and hooked) your e-mail address, or you have been signing up for things.

This is very true. We do not give out your login details or contact information to anyone, so if someone has got a hold of your email address, they haven't received it from us. They have either guessed it or acquired it from places where you have signed up or registered for stuff, and of course it is also possible that they have gotten your address from a virus infected computer that have your email address listed in a contact list somewhere.

You might want to create an e-mail address for Battle.Net use only. That is what I did.

This is good advice indeed.

I personally use a different email address for stuff like registrations, sign-ups, guild sites and message boards, and I receive tons of spam and scam mails in that address on a regular basis. The email address I use for battle.net is different however, and I have never received a single spam or scam mail on that email address.

I do, however, miss being able to use my account name. To this day I still type in my user name, realise that it won't work, and then re-type my address.

Sure most people will have to type a little more now than they had to back then, which I realize can be annoying to some, but at least you can tell the game to remember your account name so you don't have to type it every time you log in.
