It'd look like the US one. Without the tans.
Don't be so sure! It was only a couple of months ago I was back in my home country, which was in the middle of summer at the time. But yeah, since that time France has been regularly clothed in snow and very little sunlight, so you might have a point. When I was at our HQ in California I got the impression they didn't ever get weather like we do in this part of France.

One thing is for certain though, with Xordiah, Thyvene, Кихьяви, Cerunya and Emberfin, we've seemingly got more of the "gentler" gender in our local part of the Blizzard Community team.

Though photos of some of us as individuals have surfaced on the web already, who knows, maybe an EU team shot will appear at some stage. Unlike all our information announcements, the photo of the US part of our Blizzard Community team wasn't one of the normal collaborative efforts that we coordinated and planned together as a global team -- it was one of those random things that just happened. Maybe the same might "just happen" here too at some point... ;-)

Now Singapore... Thats a city....

I've always wanted to go to Singapore actually. I have a few friends there, a few guildies from way back, that I'd like to visit if given the opportunity. Problem is, there's just so many other places I also want to visit! I have to prioritize :(

You guys never get a holiday?

Oh, sure we do! Thing is, I also have a fiancee that happens to take part in deciding where we go! Recently Europe has been on our radar, featuring weekend trips to Dusseldorf, London, Tenerife and Bruges. The longer trips to places like Asia require a bit more time, planning and finances in place before undertaking ;)

Stopped reading there and thought ":o WEDDING PIX PLOX".

Then I read the rest.

Haha, no - not married just quite yet ;)

Q u o t e:
Well at least with the technology we have now you are able to talk to them online and with video camera :)

It is an interesting world indeed. Some of my best friends are very spread out around the world, and I only get to actually meet up in person a few times a year or less. That said, ventrilo or msn comes in quite handy here ;]

Hmm, is Slorkuz on that picture, or did he join the team afterwards...

Nope, not in any of the pictures!

There is a slight chance that I might be in some of the pictures that someone might have taken at the 2008 or 2009 European Regional Final events, but that's about it ;)

~Vaeil (Hopes he was right about that being Thundgot and Ommra then...)
You were right. As far as I know though, those were the only two Blizzard staff members in that photo.

Oh you silly americans. Skype > MSN+Ventrilo

Hum... I'm not American ... and you're right - Skype is great - but I use it for a different set of contacts than what I use MSN for. I don't believe in a mutually exclusive choice for chat services when different ones can serve different purposes just fine ;}

Someone I met ingame once asked who I'd like to fight IRL; I said Thundgot and Vaneras. I keep that statement.

In the wise words of Eric Cartman: "I hate you guys".

Guess this is evidence that it's not possible to please everybody :-)

Anyways, on the topic of photos, I know that quite a few people have taken photos of me in my full Blizzard outfit (Blizzard Bowler and everything) at various events, so some of those pictures should be floating about on the Internets somewhere... I don't think I am in any group photo's though :-(

And Ancilorn, what are you doing in stormwind!
Checking out the tasty honies!

Sadly I couldn't find the shop that sold all the various honey varieties, so I had to substitute my need for honey with that of jam.

hmmmm... Jam.

Haha, I dunno if stormwind is such a good place to go :( Aren't you friends with the murlocs in Crystal Lake? Anyway, I didn't even know they sold jam in Stormwind!..or honey, then again I haven't gone there in a while so it could have changed.
To find the stores in question you just have to head through the portal behind the gate. I guess being this small has it's benefits... :)

Were you interested in visiting Portugal as well?

Or have you visited it already?

Indeed.

Actually, I am waiting for it to get a little warmer, and then both Portugal or Spain, or even somewhere similar, carries a lot of appeal for a weekend trip away! I'm a sucker for warm weather (and beaches) and Portugal has that, so...

That said, I think the next place I want to go is Istanbul - possibly for a long weekend. It comes highly recommended, I'm told :)

Where I go after that is still TBD.

Denmark! We have "rød grød med fløde", it's lovely!

We have that where I'm from too! (Nope, I'm not from Denmark like Vaneras!)

Actually, I've been to Denmark a few times. Copenhagen is quite the nice city and I've enjoyed myself whenever I've been there. When I was younger, I also did a few camping trips with friends to the north of Denmark. Classic bicycle + tent experience.

Good times indeed ;)

I know you're not asking me, but I have been to Lisbon and loved it. I'd definitely go there again, and in fact I really want to get out to visit the Azores as I have ancestors from there. :-)

Hey that's not far from me! Also sorry, I misplaced you in Stormwind instead of Stratholme, I'm sure they sell jam and honey there too :(
It's ok, I thought it was Stormwind too. It looks just like the inner gateway of Stormwind. I guess that was my other day trip to Stratholme. I never did find any Jam or Honey there, just these strange bags of grain. Fancy some?

I must say I laughed when I went to Paris for a business trip for a month ago, not only did I get a fried egg on top of my hamburger but also on a pizza I ordered! Whats up with egg loving frenchmen?!
Eggs go on so many things here. Pizzas, cheese ham toasties (Croque Madame), nigh-on raw mince (Steak tartare)... so many interesting choices.
