How long does the faction change take?

On average, i know it can be up to 5 days or bla bla but my realm transfer took a hour so...

It can take up to 5 days, but on a regular day with a smooth transaction it is often done within the hour. There are lots of variables to take into consideration though (how many are using the service to name one).
