Which NPC do you feel most sorry for?

I really feel sorry for the rat in Southern Duskwood. Poor little fella spawns and then a wolf kills him. Spawn - get killed by a wolf, on and on and on, day and night - Man, that guy has it bad and the programmers at Blizz must be kinda sadistic to put that npc through such a terrible existence.

So, which npc do you feel sorry for?
