Question to Blizzard on Realm Time

I am wondering, why it is Blizzard insist upon keeping English realms under Paris time, and not London time? We have seen this for years now, and for players in the UK and Ireland it can be very disadvantageous. The French, Spanish and Germans all have realms in their own time zones, but not the British, who are forced to adapt to CET for gaming (meaning raids start just before dinner) and the reset is significantly earlier in the night) even though we do everything else on a different Time Zone and have no plans to change to CET (would be just stupid as it would cause many problems, especially in Scotland and the North of England).

I would be interested to hear Blizzard's opinion on this, as well as the opinion of British and Irish players.

The English speaking servers are not UK English only servers as they cover much of Europe that also interacts with each other in English, such as the Scandinavian countries, Italy, Greece, Turkey, etc. The time zone used for these realms is CET - or rather, Central European Time - which accurately reflects the intended region of the realms.
