[Game breaking] I meet a friendly player!

OK, I lied some what there. It was two friendly players, not one. Anyhow! Yesterday I decided to take a little trip to ToC norm. My fellow druid is in desperate need of a better healing set and the rumour told me that I could find some free leather epics there so I thought I'd give it a try. I used the LFG-tool (nice little invention tbh) and got a group 0,2 sec later.

I got a bit confused at first, the tank had almost 40k HP. I remember thinking "OK, we will find a new one quite fast when he leave". Then someone wrote something in the party chat, I think it was the tank who said "Hello". I were confused before that, but this almost made me freak out! A non pissed of selfish rush player in the LFG? This can't be true.

Well, we started to kill our way through the arena, flawless more or less *cough*. The only thing odd here was that people continued to talk to each other. Everyone were joking and laughing. The round ended and I didn't get any loot, the tank didn't get what he was after either so we decided to go for another run. A blue little hunter from the same realm as the tank stayed to, they obviously knew each other. We killed boss after boss, joking and teasing the hunter. I didn't get what I were looking for, but the protadin got his beloved stamina trinket on the fourth run. We decided to split up there and everybody returned back to their respective realm.

This is way I play WoW. It's not for the epics, I just want to have a laugh from time to time. I've been in the same guild since October 2006. I don't raid any more, I'm just here for my guild chat. We gout our jargon and I love it. I thought it was impossible to find the same thing in a dungeon these days. I don't expect everyone to share their life story and give me their top 5 jokes, but most people don't even say hello when you enter a new instance today. People is rather rude, selfish and pure retards. One mistake and you get a 500 character long capital letter essay about how much X hates you....

To summary everything: Be nice to each other! <3

This was a very nice read :-)

I must say though, that the people I meet in PUGs are usually quite friendly. In fact it is quite rare that I get in a group with people who are not friendly. Of course it does happen sometimes that some obnoxious person is ruining the fun, but that is just the way the cookie crumbles :-)

Unfortunately people tend to remember bad experiences for a much longer time than they remember good experiences, which I believe can lead to the distorted impression that there are no friendly players to be found in PUGs
