Gamebreaker...?

Well lol.

I just made a post earlier today about how I keep returning to WoW, which I have done quite a few times now. I made that post before I entered the game today.

But now I think I might be seeing the first gamebreaker that I ever saw from WoW. there are certain things that may be annoying and that they can improve, but nothing that have made me leave the game because of WoW itself, - it's allways been because of what other games had that WoW didn't.

But this new PUG dungeon system you've got running now,
- I can now stand in the vicinity of an auction house being queued for either random dungeons or battlegrounds. I don't ever have to leave that auctionhouse besides those teleports.

Wow. That sounds like something similar to Dungeon Runners to me, and that game is free to play.

I made a post a long time ago asking if WoW could ever be to easy, and it seems this might be it. If there's no effort and you feel like you're on a routine, then where's the fun?

Where's the feeling of being in a unique world with groupmates that cover your and you trust (more or less) ?

I didn't even bother saying hello to the people in the groups, it was totally impersonal, just like battlegrounds.

I don't know what to do with that really, this isn't really a flame post because I don't know how to solve it. Since it is very convinient to get into battlegrounds and dungeons fast.
But this way requires no effort...

I don't know, what do others feel about this?

...problem is I'm running out of other games to leave for now...

You picked a pretty bad time tbh. Mr. Human Rogue is on a trolling spree trying to get himself a ban by derailing any thread he can access and by insulting random people. :)
Indeed, but is now gone away on a little forum holiday. Please try to continue here, as there are a lot of decent people reading and posting in these forums, just every now and then a little troll pops up to try and spoil it for everyone.

Back on topic, personally I quite like being teleported to and from an instance. I never found the journey to a dungeon all that interesting, and at the worst it was just a pain to have to spend that time doing nothing but flying. Now I can just click a button and be there. Personally I think that's a good thing; I can spend my time in between dungeons doing other stuff like gathering or doing daily quests. I guess if you really find this a game breaking change, then that just proves how differently people can perceive something. The change was a good thing in my eyes, and if anything it is making me play more than before.

A few things to add here include... you can join the dungeon tool with a partial group, so you could group up with some friends from your realm and then some randoms from the dungeon tool to complete the party. That way you can still have social contact with people you know. Seems this has worked out well for me so far.

The dungeon tool does just have an intrinsic element of anonymity to it, and unfortunately this can bring out the bad in people sometimes. But I always do say Hi at the start of the dungeon, and thanks at the finish. In the end, the world (in-game and out) is what we make of it, so if we all try and be a little polite and social then things might be a bit better. OK I know that might sound a bit deluded, but it's nice to pretend it is achievable -- and even nicer if we actually did try and be a bit more friendly while using the dungeon tool. ;-)
