Need Frozen Orbs?? - Blue Tracker

I have ben runing a few of the random dungeons because they are quick and simple and obviousoly get the 2x Emblem of frost everyone is after. Group goes fine then all of a sudden on the last boss the orb drops with 1 epic and 2 or 1 blues now I remember instancing with my own server and it was like automatically greed orbs and greed or pass the items they don't need right? but now just because we are from different servers I have experienced people Needing orbs whilst the rest greeds them..Needing epics etc.. just because we are from different servers doesn't mean you have the right to do this. Anyone else experiencing this?? sorry for the rant =)

Yes I think we've all seen this now, and it makes me start to wonder if Frozen Orbs should just be assigned randomly without needing a greed or need decision. As it is, I continue to press greed and if I am lucky then my JC character gets to make her Icy Prism that day. If not, well it's the emblems I'm after anyhow so I'm not too bothered. I just hope that those who do press need really do believe they need the orb to make their character better, and not to just sell at the AH for a bit of extra gold.

Yeah fair enough. I did once roll Need when I saw someone else did. I just felt a bit bad for those who had pressed Greed. I agree that if everyone presses Need then nobody can ninja it, I guess the issue then is ensuring everyone is aware of that beforehand.

Especially with the changes to Frozen Orbs and what they will soon allow you to purchase (http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=12680047996), in patch 3.3.3 Frozen Orbs will no longer be something we can choose for Need or Greed. Instead, they will be subject to an automatic Greed roll.
