So I got to 80...

I finally hit the big 80... This is my first chareter and so far I'm finding it very boring doing these HC's. I'm a retri pala, so far I get bullied because of my dps and gear being terrible. I know they are terrible. Thats why I'm doing the HC in the first place. So I was wondering, Should I just leave this charecter as he is and start a new untill Catacsym comes out? That way I can be level 85 and do the new instances ect. Or will people still be jerks about my gear/dps?

What matters for me is the end result. Can we do the heroic and complete it without major issues? If so, personally I do not mind if there's a damage dealer barely registering on the damage meters. They'll get better gear, and they'll do better damage in time. So I agree that it is unfortunate that sometimes other people can be outright rude, because from where I see it, it just isn't necessary to make someone feel bad about their performance as long as the group as a whole can still complete the instance. Unfortunately not everyone shares my view and so every now and then you will encounter people who believe it is their calling in life to make you feel bad when your damage isn't great even if your skill is.

So I would love to tell you to persevere and that you'll never encounter people who want to make you feel sorry for even trying, but unfortunately that isn't the kind of world we live in. But do know that there are people out there who don't mind if your damage is low, and every now and then you will have a random dungeon with people who don't mind your damage output and gradually you will get better gear to showcase your skill with.
