Shadow priests shouldnt say their healers

shadow priest is like me a warlock... he does damage not healing
shadow priest often try to get into group as a healer though they heal like *&^%
get +heal gear or get outa here

we whiped like 3 times thanks to a stupid /oom healer

dont you guys think that shadow spec shouldnt be called healer

i for one always kick priests that end up to be shadow and dont have heal gear

It sort of depends on what instance and how the team plays. If it's one of the earlier instances (Ramparts, Furnace) and you have a semi competent team that doesn't run off and take unnecessary damage, Shadow Priests heal just fine, at the same time as they are making the run go a bit faster.

As the instances get a bit harder or you have people that tend to take more damage than they should, you might want to add another healer.

As always, it comes down to individual play style and skill. You will encounter great Shadowpriests, and horrible Shadowpriests, just as any other class. It sounds to me like you've not been encountering the great Shadowpriests so far.
