Hello! I think there might be a problem with the rolling system at the moment.

This is what happened: Leather AP boots dropped and only the hunter needed them, however the Need Before Greed system didnt alow him to press "Need" so he had to press "Greed". The problem was that other members of the group had already pressed the newly available disenchant feature, guess what happened, a guy got the abyss from the boots.

By the way, this is what i experienced, maybe he just had some sort of a bug which didnt allow him to press "Need"

Anyway if this has also happened to you guys please make a post below.

A Blue post will clarify this matter soon i hope. ( or not )

To clarify some points on the new new need before greed system:

The disenchant button has the same priority as the greed button -- they share the same rolling pool, so to speak. If 3 people roll greed, and 2 people choose disenchant, all five will roll and the winning roll would get the item or the disenchanted materials depending on which they chose. A need roll will still trump both the greed and disenchant choices and take priority.

With the system a character can only roll need on an item that fits their armor class, so the hunter referenced in the OP would not be able to roll on the leather loot that dropped since the hunter uses mail as their armor class. We want people to seek upgrades to their items within their own armor class. To add, this only comes into effect when rolling on items with an iLvl of 70 or above.
