Kick out option a mistake!

I have just recently hit 80 with my hunter and have started on the heroic dungeons to kit up with PvE gear, but now Im finding that people are kicking me out of groups because I dont have the latest, fancyiest purples yet.
I might add that many of group members are 'hardcore' raiders who play the game a lot and I think its unfair that blizzard has given the option to remove people from raid groups as its often the casual player who dont have all purples that suffer because of this.

It took me a while to lvl up my 80 as I dont play the game all the time or go on 'farm raids' to get purples, giving a group the option to kick out a poorly geared player is unfair to those who dont raid seventeen hours a day and also encourages an attitube of elitism among those who are better geared.

Gearing up in purples takes time, whether PvP or PvE and I simply think that a group shouldnt have the right to prevent other playing simply because they dont happen to have that epic weapon of chest item.

Interesting, I can see the angle you are approaching this subject from and understand your sentiments. On the same note though, the sentiments of those who wish to min-max their performance and clear time in instances, or those who wish to ensure the highest possible chance of success vs their time invested are not difficult to relate to either.

So, here's a question for you. Do you also feel it is completely unfair that players get to chose who they spend their time playing with? Chances are that some of them have had some bad instance experiences in the past, and just want a nice swift instance clear without too much hassle.

Devil's advocacy aside though; this is an interesting subject that we are monitoring to see how it progresses. Please continue sharing your thoughts and sentiments!
