How important are armour looks for you ?

After recently levelling a bunch of alts a slight dilemma of looks vs stats started to make an appearance. So how big a part does looks play for you ? Would you sacrifice say an extra bit of spell power or stam purely because the shoulders you have to equip look far too hideous ?

NOTE: This is strictly speaking for levelling (ignoring end instance/ raiding 80 where gear stats > looks)

Good question! When levelling I tend to go for the items that bring more stats to my character. My alts tend to wander around most of the time looking like they're fresh out of an asylum, but they're often very potent in combat. :)

At max level though, I am more willing to miss out on a couple of stats here and there for the sake of looking awesome. Just last week whilst playing my hunter I passed on an item that would have given me a couple more agility and a couple more additional crit because it looks so hideously out of place on my current gear set. I am a rare one, though! So lets here more!
