More xp in outland 58 > 60 quick ?

Curiously, since the mob's and quests in outlands yield much more xp than their counter leveled mobs/quests in the pre-expansion area's, does it mean going through the portal at lvl 58 and doing the quests there and killing mobs is going to make it much much faster to get from level 58 to 60 than before ?

It worked for me. I took one of my alts to OL at level 58, got great XP, some nice random drops and excellent quest rewards :)
Apart from that you can also already train up your professions; so if, for example, you have herbalism, you can already be skilling that up over 300.
