Personally I'd see it would come at the very beginning of 2010. This as I do not want to hard core raid during Christmas, and I think many families would appreciate to have the sons (and daughters) to be more available at Christmas. If 3.3 was live they would probably would be busy farming for epics from Arthas rather than opening gifts on Christmas day, a both sad and undesirable scenario for many.
I think Blizzard do share this view and probably will not release it should it not make it before the beginning of December, and considering it is only roughly 2 more weeks until that particular dead line is met, it hopefully will not hit live until beginning of January.
This is based on the basic research performed of the release dates of previous content patches; the closest release to December I could find was the 2.0.x pre-expansion patch for TBC which was released on December 5, when the actual expansion wasn't released until January 9 (something like that).
Please share your view on when you think the 3.3 patch will hit live servers, and please include some reasoning to support your prediction.
