Q u o t e:I'm not an answer bot. I read the topic and this came to mind.
In what way do these links answer the question? It doesn't tell us anything about cross faction chat possibilities? Or am I missing something?
Q u o t e:Honestly, I personally have no idea at this stage and that might be why no reply has been forthcoming in our Russian language forum either. I'm sure we will release pertinent details in due course.
Just a small question. I know that this feature is still in development - but will here be any possibility in future to chat from one WoW localization (for example Ru accounts) to another (for example common EU accounts). Like Azuregos-RU with Khadgar-EU. This would be awesome....missing alot of my friends.
p.s. you know...half of Russia in Europe of continent...so..i'm almost european :P
Q u o t e:I believe these are people that have chosen to link their Battle.net accounts as friends and reveal their names, rather than the in-game WoW friends list, which I believe is not the same and certainly seems to be different in that screenshot (i.e. some like "Shosteria" and "Anakaram" are obviously still "just" normal WoW friends, and have a darker background on the friend's list and thus anonymous, just as they are now). If you want the anonymity, you can still have anonymous WoW friends as it is now. Again, further and more specific details will be released in time.
Wait, that screenshot shows people's real names? How come? Aren't they private?
