Abuse of Religion

I have had a problem with this expansion from the beginning, not because Blizzard focuses on promoting evil and "death knights" more then anything good or holy. But ever since I have been in Northrend, all I have seen is rip-off after rip-off of Norse Mythology. Now the problem is that there are still some people in the world that believe in Norse Mythology and if WoW decided to do such a heavy rip-off of say... Christianity or especially Islam, they could be sued for it (or in islamic countries) stoned to death. So why is it acceptable to borrow so heavily from minor religions. Another example of this is Draenei talking like "Fiddler on the Roof" Jewish people when their story actually has a lot in common with the Jewish exodus from Isreal. (Maybe exempting the interdemensional starship). A lot of people will call me a "Noob" or whatever for this but I really do not care, this is a question posed directly at Blizzard.

When is it acceptable to rip-off religions and make such common abuse of ancient traditions and beliefs. (Case and point - Val'kyrs). Would Blizzard have a divine force called "All'ah"?

We do not seek to abuse or discriminate anyone, nomatter what culture people are from or the religions they follow. It is true that some content in World of Warcraft is inspired from styles and traditions of different cultures around the world, but that should rather be seen as a sign of respect and homage of those very cultures and not abuse or ridicule.

Locking this thread as threads on the topic of religion in general has a very strong tendency to derail completely or contain unsuitable posts.
