Dunno where else to post this so i'm posting this here. I'm still persuading a buddy of mine into starting playing wow. I think playing together with him with the RaF system would be a hell of a lot of fun :)
but it got me thinking, wich class combinations would be best for leveling together? I was thinking of something that does dmg and something that supports for extra dmg and the occassional heal, and in such a way that you can divide the gear and don't use the same gear, to make the most of what you find together. The Warrior/Shaman combination looks like a lot of fun and a killer combo to me, but what are your ideas/suggestions on this? would this work? do you have a better combination?

PS. Sorry if i make any spelling mistakes ;-)

Seems to me a missing part of this equation is what you intend to do together after hitting the level cap. While leveling 1-80 is fairly straight forward and can pretty much be done by any class combination relatively well, though perhaps more efficiently by some combinations, it is when you start going for the "endgame" - be it PvE or PvP - that class synergies become more important.

Having leveled together with all classes on my character(s), and having rerolled to multiple realms with friends for a 'fresh start' as a means of passing time, I found that sticking with classes suiting my (and my friends) play style gave us more entertainment value than purely optimising for the "best and most efficient combo to hit level 80 with".

That being said, it's always nice if at least one of the characters can heal in some form ;)
