New Player realms
Normal/PvE: Anachronos
PvP: Shattered Halls
RP: The Sha'tar
RP PvP: Scarshield Legion

Free Character Migration (FCM)
The below FCM is available until September 29. All migrations are faction restricted to improve ratios on involved realms, thus your faction is currently the less populated one on the destination realm.

Alliance only:
From: Burning Legion, Frostmane, Grim Batol, Ravencrest and Sylvanas
To: Burning Steppes, Magtheridon, Mazrigos and Vek'nilash

Horde only:
From: Al'Akir, Kazzak, Magtheridon, Outland and Stormscale
To: Neptulon and Trollbane

Please note: FCM is opened based on realm population tracking and analysis, not by request. If you're looking for a specific migration (from realm A to realm B), you are in most cases better off using Paid Character Transfer, or you could end up waiting for a very long time.

Paid Character Transfers (PCT)
All English realms follow the regular PCT rules, found here:

Anyways, any chance of a migration from CoA the dam server is broken or atleast get a alliance only mig to CoA.
It appears this is an ideal example of how perception can be really quite different from reality. We only set up FCMs generally for realms with faction imbalance, and Chamber of Aspects does not at all fall into this category at the moment.

I was complaining in another post about how ALL servers except CoA and Saurfang got a free migration to magtheridon for alliance and Thundbob answered me and said the reason was that there was more hordes on CoA than alliance.
Fair enough. Luckily the imbalance is very slight in the grand scheme of things.
Q u o t e:
Please consider some better destination realms to trasnfer to from Al'Akir.
Just out of interest, what is it about the two current destination realms that doesn't appeal to you?

Q u o t e:
The problem with the 2 current ones in my opinion is that Trollbane is just a bit low populated for those who'd like to consider a realm with a population between Al'akir and a low populated one. Neptulon seems ok but its in a different battlegroup than Blackout which could be an important factor for those who consdering moving from Al'akir. It just seemed wierd for horde to have 2 servers to choose from and (edit)4 for alliance.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The two Horde destination realms are chosen as they are quite in need of some Horde loving, whereas directing those Horde to other realms might actually cause an imbalance -- something we definitely want to avoid. Ultimately, though it may be nice to set up lots of specific FCMs to please everyone, we still need to focus the goal on balancing realm factions.

Q u o t e:
Is it possible for you guys at Blizzard to give us players some insight on if these free migrations are any succesfull, and how succesfull they are? Also is blizzard considering free faction change in the future or is that not a suitable option to balance realms?
Well we can say the recent Magtheridon to Tarren Mill FCM had some notable success. ;-)

We are generally seeing improvements -- the FCMs do help so that's why we keep doing them.
