Faction change blue please elaborate

Has the faction change queue's come to a complete halt?

several people have been waiting 6-7 hours, we understand that the page states "process can take several days" but usually its quite fast all though it seems none has had a successful change all day?

Would blizzard care to elaborate on if we should cancel and play our chars and wait until another day or if the queue is actually still running, and we will be able to change shortly and do our daily deeds.
