Moving to America?

Hi all,
I have recently been told that I will be moving to America to work. With regards to WoW, does that mean I would have to rebuy a new copy out there in order to play?

I assume that the european version that I have is not compatible with any American realms, and if I continue to use it out there my latency would be huge.

Would appreciate input from anyone who has done it before, or any of the Blizz guys.

Thanks.

The time difference is a killer though, i imagine that when the average person gets home at 5-6 most people here will allready be done for the night, or mostly.

Going by my own experience I have to agree with this. Time-zone difference was the biggest issue with playing in a different region than where I lived. It works if you have some weird shift hours, however, for a European playing in EU timezones, you would have to expect to be able to attend raids at noon-1pm if you're east coast, and 9-10am if you're west coast. Regular 'after work' hours while living in the US would make your play times midnight++ compared to other EU players.
