Why do you force that PvE down my throat?

Since the Illidan kill in TBC I swore I would not touch PvE ever, ever again. It's mind numbing, forces you to deal with people you never want to deal with on your free time, it requires way too much dedication in the scene/too many people and to stay in a guild that is capable to handle it and so forth. It's simply not for me, I think I'd damn near rather drink piss than do that same waiting game, failures with rng loot, failures with ppl showing up and so forth.

What I really enjoy about this game is arena, even some random battlegrounds here and there with a small group. I have a few good friends and workmates on the realm I play with and I dont expect anything more than to stick to hardcore arenas. This game could be renamed to World of Arenacraft for me. I simply HATE the mess that PvE forces you to go through. And I'm not alone.

Now, what has really been depressing to me is how every season brings out the new offsets with no right stats for your class/spec, you're forced AP instead of Stre, sometimes a season/patch brings out a stat above others, and the fellows that do PvE get the insane advantage of it first (and mostly only them). Good example is armor penetration for warriors in season 6-7.

This season has been even bigger frustration with a HUGE itemlevel difference and the customization options added to PvE offsets compared to PvP ones. I mean, 213ilvl insignia into 258ilvl death's verdict f.ex. Pretty ##@#ing great job. Every other offset is 245 where the PvE highest possibles are 258. That adds up to total of 149 itemlevels worth of disadvantage compared to the people who actually have the time to farm these instances. I know the item generation cannot be extremely hard, so I wonder, is this a design philosophy to get ppl to play more PvE? I surely hope you're not seriously thinking this is cool.

Is this like the infamous attitude 'just stick it into her ass, they all love it'?
