Cataclysm Alpha Scams

Currently on youtube there have been alot of movies appearing by a ring of scammers after players details. now any person with common sense will know straight away that this is a scam but there are those who are naieve and impatient and quite bluntly gullable that will fall for these scams. It is important that we have the whole WoW community aware that there is NO alpha sign up. at no stage in any MMO i've heard of have you ever been able to sign up to their alpha being the fact that alpha is for Developers and their friends and family, as far as i'm aware.

anyway. onto the details. these scammers are posting these video's with links to fake sites that are beginning to look more and more authentic on each of their attempts, i made a movie showing the things to watch out for.

alot of their websites have the word cataclysm and end with .tk (on one occasion the scammer accidentally put in catalyst)

i wont post the links to their sites just in-case anyone accidentally clicks them. i went to each site with my laptop which i use as a sandbox for such sites to test to see what exactly they are after. basically the sign up stage making it look like an official page is just a front, the next page is what they're really interested in

Account name, Password & your email address.
so that they can login, change your password and take you for a ride. Let any of your friends who you think may fall for such trickery know to watch out for this. Blizzard are the ones who will tell us of any beta for the new expansion, which at a guess is far off atm. and we won't be able to sign up to it. chances are it will be a closed beta as the Expansions prior this one.

Also in addition. if you recieve an email telling you that you have been chosen to take part in the alpha. delete it. do not click any link or open it.
