Class options... just no.

Sorry folks, but all this Tauren paladin/priest, Orc and Dwarf mage and Troll druid thing is like a sushi roll filled with Bratwurst, ingested and "returned to the sender". The whole feeling of the Warcraft universe will take a gigantic shot to the head with this change.

This comes from a player who sticked with the Warcraft games since Warcraft 1. An epic cascade of never before seen fail will descend upon WoW, and drown all of it's feel in laughability.

Q u o t e:
Not nearly as much of a lorelol as Tauren Druids. And I hear they're not limiting Night Elf classes based on character gender! What's up with that?
Thanks (again) for making me grin. ;-)

We appreciate some people seemingly have a very rigid view of Warcraft lore, but we feel it is something that is fluidic and ever evolving, much like the very best storylines are. We do not feel trapped and restrained by the past, we feel much like in the real world the past is something that we can both draw upon, and build on. And this is what we are doing. You can see already from the breadcrumb style quests we have already in game for holier Tauren and a return-to-the-arcane Night Elf, there are ways of introducing (or indeed re-introducing) these elements into both the game and the lore.
