Maintenance - "Extended" maintenance issue.

Not sure where to post this but I want to lodge a general complaint as I am not happy with the maintenance cycle for the past few weeks as the realms I play on have been given "extended" maintenance now multiple weeks in a row.

I would like a reason for the "extended" maintenance for these weeks and a reason why we are not given some sort of compensation for the interrupted service while others don't even know what "extended" maintenance is.

I would like a response to this please, no flaming as I feel it's a valid issue that deserves a response.
